About InCase
Most households run on information that lives in one person's head: which bank the mortgage is with, where the insurance policy is filed, the password to the family photo archive, the name of the vet. When that person is suddenly unavailable, the people left behind spend weeks reconstructing it, usually at the worst possible time.
InCase is being built to make that information easy to write down once, keep private, and hand over only when it is actually needed.
What we are building
- An encrypted vault for practical information and personal messages.
- Trusted contacts who receive the sections you choose.
- A check-in switch that releases access only after a long period of silence, multiple reminders and a grace period.
- An emergency medical card with a QR code you can print or keep on your phone.
What we are careful about
Our intended design is end-to-end encryption, where your data is encrypted on your device. We have not been audited or certified, and we will not claim otherwise. Before launch we plan to publish the technical design so it can be scrutinised.
InCase is not a law firm and does not replace a will, a power of attorney or advice from a professional. The guides on this site are general information to help you get organised.
Where things stand
InCase is in development and not yet available. You can join the waitlist on the home page, and we will email you when early access opens.
